TWO TWELVE'S SARAH HAUN ELECTED MEMBER OF BOARD OF THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF GRAPHIC ARTS NEW YORK CHAPTER

New York, NY, 1 July, 2003—Two Twelve Associates (http://www.twotwelve.com), the New York City-based
public information design firm, announces that its director of marketing and
communications, Sarah Haun, has been elected to the Board of the American
Institute of Graphic Arts New York Chapter (AIGA/NY). With over 16,000
members, the AIGA is the largest and oldest association of professional
designers in the United States. AIGA/NY is its largest chapter, with more
than 2,500 members.

One of only two non-designers elected to the 15-member board, Ms. Haun will
serve two-year term from July 2003 to July 2005. By accepting the position,
she has committed to providing service directly to the chapter, indirectly
to the national organization, and to the design profession at large.
"Design as a profession has a higher public profile than ever these days,"
Ms. Haun says, "but there’s still a lot of work to be done in shaping
perceptions and understanding of what design is and does for business and
society. I hope to support the ambitions of the board and the membership
along these lines by offering perspective on business issues, particularly
those related to marketing and public relations."

Ms. Haun will continue to serve in her role as marketing director for Two
Twelve throughout her board term. Prior to joining Two Twelve, she was vice
president of corporate communications at Red Sky Interactive, and
international communications manager at Pentagram Design. She has also
consulted independently to creative organizations and individuals. Ms. Haun
earned her BA from Yale and an MS from Syracuse University’s Newhouse
School of Public Communications, has taught at New York University’s School
of Continuing Education and Professional Studies.
