Honolulu's Mayor Mufi Hannemann Attends Private
Viewing of New York City's Olympic Bid Submission

New York, NY, 27 April 2005 - Two Twelve Associates, the New York City-based public information design firm, announces today that principal Ann Harakawa is co-hosting a private event in Honolulu to view films, advertising, and graphic design that has been developed to support NYC2012, the committee leading New York City's bid to host the Olympic Games in summer 2012.

Ms. Harakawa, along with Jeffrey Dinsmore, vice president of development, Hawaii region, General Growth Properties, Inc., and John Zabriskie, Senior Policy Advisor, City and County of Honolulu, have invited select members of the Honolulu business community to attend the evening event at the Pacific Club on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Mayor Mufi Hannemann is among those invited and expected to attend.

Guests are invited to experience the Olympic Games as envisioned by New York City in films, television ads and the 600-page "bid book" or Candidature File submitted to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in November 2004. Two Twelve consulted to NYC2012 on the design of this major information branding project.

Ann Harakawa, born and raised in Hawaii, is a principal of Two Twelve. Since 1999, she has led her graphics team in the development of the NYC2012 graphic identity and the design of the official bid submissions to the United States Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee.

As the official U.S. Candidate City, New York is competing against London, Paris, Moscow and Madrid for the honor of hosting the world's largest sporting event. The IOC will name the official Host City for the Olympic Games in 2012 on July 6, 2005 in Singapore.
