TWO TWELVE'S SHAFQAT TANWEER ATTENDS U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM AT DARTMOUTH'S TUCK BUSINESS SCHOOL

New York, NY, 3 April, 2005—Two Twelve Associates (http://www.twotwelve.com), the public information design firm, announces that chief financial officer Shafqat Tanweer is participating in a six-day program at Dartmouth University about “Building a High-Performing Business: The Tuck-MBDA Partnership Program.”

The program is being produced by Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth and the United States Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA). Business owners and executives from all over the country comprise the class of 52 participants attending the program in Hanover, New Hampshire, 3-8 April 2005.

The MBDA is sponsoring Mr. Tanweer to attend as a representative of  Two Twelve Harakawa, Inc., the sister company to Two Twelve Associates that is a minority/woman-owned business enterprise (MBE/WBE) certified with a number of federal, state and city government agencies.  

As CFO of Two Twelve, Mr. Tanweer is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s financial management. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tanweer held positions of CFO, vice president of finance and treasurer for several multi-million dollar corporations, including The Drake Business School Corporation and Digital Graphic Inc. Mr. Tanweer led the team that took Wilfred American Educational Corporation from private ownership to its current listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Mr. Tanweer earned his BS and MBA degrees from Punjab University in Pakistan. He also has an MBA in accounting and diplomas in financial management and mangaement practices from New York University.
