We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Signage and Wayfinding Designer to be part of our ambitious creative team. What your responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with team members, clients, and design consultants to create detailed holistic strategies and drive designs from concept to completion
- Take ownership of projects, proactively identifying and solving problems that arise during project work, and ensuring successful outcomes for our clients
- Distill concepts into narratives and engage in client presentations that advance the project goals
- Develop signage detail drawings, signage programming, document specifications, and manage the construction phases of work
- Proactively seeking new skill sets and tools that complement design process and development
- Participate in meetings with team members and pro-actively coordinate tasks for smooth workflow
- Mentor young designers and assist with training in the EGD discipline
- Manage the forward momentum of projects and create work plans
- Travel for project meetings, fabrication, and punch list review, when required
Minimum qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of work experience in managing EGD wayfinding and signage projects, including planning, design, and documentation. Participation in design strategy, master plan development, and knowledge of digital wayfinding technologies is a plus.
- A 4-year college degree (BA/BS in graphic design or architecture)
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility, composition, typographic skills, 3D-form creation, and systems thinking through completed EGD projects
- Understanding of materials / methods required for signage fabrication and installation
- Ability to understand architectural sets and interpret architectural drawings
- Knowledge of ADA, building, and fire code
- A high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD Tools, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, and Sign Agent are a plus.

Salary, compensation & benefits
The hiring salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000. Two Twelve offers competitive compensation packages. We deeply value the talent our teams bring to the table and believe that fair and equitable total compensation is part of our commitment to everyone that works at our firm.
