2010

University of Buffalo Master Plan received a 2010 Professional Award from the American Planning Association. Two Twelve provided environmental graphic design services for the effort as part of the Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners LLP team.

The Wayfinding Handbook: Information Design for Public Places received a 2010 Honor Award from the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) and jury praise including "Insightful. Informative. Incredibly useful."

Empire State Building Lobby The New York Landmarks Conservancy recognized Two Twelve (as part of the consultant team led by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners LLP) with their highest honor, the Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award, for our contribution to the restoration of the Empire State Building Lobby.



2009

Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, Newhouse III Two Twelve was recognized with a 2009 AIA New York State Design Award from The American Institute of Architects.

Charlotte Pedestrian Wayfinding Program
Two Twelve was honored with the Special Achievement Award at the CENTER CITY Partners' 2009 Vision Awards for our involvement in the wayfinding and signage program.



2008

U.S. Courthouse and Post Office at Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn, NY received an Honor Award for Preservation at the 2008 biennial GSA Design Awards. Two Twelve provided environmental graphic design services for the project as part of the Kliment Halsband Architects team.

Princeton University Campus Plan
Two Twelve, as part of the consultant team led by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners LLP, was recognized with the 2008 Honor Award for Excellence in Planning for an Established Campus. Awarded by The Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) and The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on Architecture for Education.

2007

AIGA-NY GROW “Start a Discussion” inspirational poster for the American Institute of Graphic Arts-New York Chapter’s first conference on sustainability in 2006, received a Merit Award in HOW Magazine’s Self-Promotion Design Annual (October 2007) and an American Graphic Design Award in the Design USA 2007 Design Annual (December 2007).

David Gibson, principal of Two Twelve Associates, awarded the inaugural Material ConneXion MEDIUM Award for “ingenious and creative application of materials—from Corian® to aluminum to neon—in environmental graphic design.” Two Twelve was selected by the staff of Material ConneXion®, the world’s preeminent materials resource for design and architecture professionals, and the editors of Print Magazine.



2006

Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Preservation & Management Plan
American Planning Association New York Upstate Chapter Award for 2006 Outstanding Planning Project, Comprehensive Planning: For a Regionally Based Plan. Two Twelve has provided graphic design consulting services to the project team, including the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Commission, the National Park Service, Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners, Sasaki Associates, Main Street Design, Carey Feierabend Consulting, Mary Mean Associates, Vollmer Associates, Economic Stewardship, Inc., Tourism Development Associates, and Hartgen Archeological Associates.

NYC2012 Official Candidature File for the International Olympic Committee awarded an American Graphic Design Award in the Graphic Design USA 2005 Design Annual competition.

Downtown Partnership of Baltimore identity and pedestrian signage system received an ACE Award for Communication Excellence International Association of Business Communicators/New York Chapter (NY/IABC).

NYC2012 Official Candidature File for the International Olympic Committee was a Finalist in Mohawk Show 6.



2004

NYC2012 Olympic Village architectural competition exhibit in Grand Central Terminal, ACE Award for Communications Excellence for Design/Trade Show Exhibits, NY/IABC

Shea Stadium wayfinding and signage design won the ACE Award for Communications Excellence for Most Improved/Live Events, NY/IABC.



2003

MoMA QNS signage design received a Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) Merit Award, appeared in the STEP Inside Design Annual Review, and received an Award for Excellence in the 2003 Communication Arts Design Annual.

Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC) "From Recovery to Renewal" exhibit received an ACE Award for Communications Excellence for Design/Live Events from NY/IABC.

The Office of the Mayor of New York City New York City’s Vision for Lower Manhattan received an ACE Award for Communications for Special Publications from NY/IABC.



2002

NYC2012 Executive Summary, a promotional brochure for New York’s USOC bid, won an ACE Award for Communications Excellence from NY/IABC.

Leigh Bureau Speakers of Substance catalogue received an ACE Award for Communications Excellence from NY/IABC.

American Institute of Graphic Arts “AIGA 365” exhibit received an ACE Award for Communications Excellence for Design/Live Events/Exhibit from NY/IABC.



2000

City of Chicago streetscape signage design and standards received an SEGD Merit Award.

Grand Central Terminal retail and Metro North maps each received an SEGD Merit Award.



1999

Grand Central Terminal construction barricades received awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), American Center for Design 100, and the Communication Arts Design Annual.

United States Census Bureau Census 2000 identity and questionnaires were recognized with a Federal Design Achievement Award, a Presidential Design Award, and an American Center for Design 100 Awards.

Massachusetts General Hospital wayfinding and signage design received an SEGD Merit Award.
