Each year Bloomberg L.P. issues a report, illustrating the company’s vision, position and progress on sustainability and how it is practiced across their products, the planet and their people.
The report is delivered as a PDF document that follows industry standard guidelines for GRI reporting. This year, different that in previous years, a complementary report microsite was developed in conjunction with our partners at RTG to specifically feature the highlights.
Bloomberg continued their focus on data and transparency. The company embarked on developing a report that speaks to all audiences, bridging the gap between those who are more knowledgeable of sustainability measurements and those who are interested to learn more. To meet this goal, Two Twelve proposed the Bloomberg Sustainability site and the GRI report to be seamlessly integrated.
True to Bloomberg’s brand, the site employs the latest technology while providing a window into Bloomberg’s comprehensive reporting. The architecture of the site is designed to make the dense data accessible, allowing users to find detailed information as they click into the site. The animated information graphics allow users to link directly to the report and to take a deeper dive into the data by providing a path to the actual (GRI) report.
The integrated design of the report and microsite communicates the firm’s reporting data in a way that is clear, direct and thoughtfully presented.
