Sound Transit

A design collaborative of Two Twelve (NY), Jon Bentz Design (Edmonds, WA), and Maestri (Seattle) completed design through implementation of an environmental graphics program for one of the country’s largest mass transit initiatives.
This new multi-modal network, called Sound Transit, is located in the Pacific Northwest. The network covers over 80 miles, 26 municipal jurisdictions, three counties, and offers three lines of service: commuter rail, light rail, and regional buses. The new transit opportunities were designed to interface with existing bus systems, ferries, Amtrak, and a monorail, greatly expanding local mass transit options in this highly congested area.
