From Fell's Point to Federal Hill, the City of Baltimore has been undergoing a renaissance, drawing new residents, businesses, and visitors every year. To help people discover and navigate the changing city, Two Twelve worked with Baltimore’s Downtown Partnership to develop a pedestrian sign system that signals the city’s revival and provides wayfinding assistance.

The project originated with the Mount Vernon Cultural District, but the clear directional signs, helpful maps, and color coding proved so effective that the system is being adopted throughout the area, neighborhood by neighborhood.

The graphics have distinguished downtown as a destination with a unique identity as a city on the rise.
