Radio City Music Hall
- Wayfinding & Signage Projects
- Information Design Projects
Built in 1932, Radio City Music Hall is one of America's most iconic entertainment venues. By its 67th birthday in 1999, however, the historic theater was showing its age. In collaboration with restoration architect Hugh Hardy, Two Twelve developed elegant signage that helped revive this glamorous landmark and brought the building up to current code requirements.
Two Twelve directed the development of a proprietary typeface and a complementary family of graphic icons to reflect the building’s Art Deco heritage. Through these elegant details, materials, and forms, the signage program meets communication and regulatory needs with wit and style.
