The 738-acre NAU campus in Flagstaff is located in a ponderosa pine forest on the Colorado Plateau, a sensitive, high altitude ecosystem. When the University embarked on a plan to update its 100-year old infrastructure, it engaged Two Twelve to create a comprehensive and extensible campus sign system that would reflect contemporary principles of sustainable design.

Two Twelve led the successful design team involving university personnel, the Tucson office of AECOM landscape architecture, and progressive fabrication partners Winsor Fireform.

The result is a system that enhances both pedestrian and vehicular wayfinding and unifies the campus with a consistent identity and messaging.
