SUNY Fredonia’s Rockefeller Arts Center is home to a wide range of artistic pursuits, from theaters and classrooms to design labs and costume shops. The Center’s recent expansion and renovation led to a need for clear and cohesive wayfinding and signage to help guide users throughout the complex building, which consists of multiple levels and entry points at various levels, as well as a donor recognition program. Our client, SUNY Fredonia, was interested in our creative wayfinding and signage solution that integrates the Center’s architectural signage with its donor recognition signage. With their decision to install both systems throughout the new expansion and existing spaces, our scope of work expanded.

The resulting system considers future changes and growth: our team designed the donor signs to easily "add-on" to the room signs over time as more donors come on board. Most significantly, the system feels fully integrated and cohesive, whether or not there is a donor assigned to that specific space.
